Airsoft guns are getting more popular nowadays. Airsoft guns are usually used for recreational purposes or as a hobby. They can be a fun hobby but for the airsoft newbie, you have to determine which type of gun you should invest in. There is a big market out there for airsoft guns and you would be overwhelmed with various choices of them such as the rifles, pistols or snipers.

There are many places where you can shop for airsoft guns. You can either get them at places like WalMart or online shops. However, do you find yourself wondering whether the gun shoots accurately, far or have long-lasting batteries

          ]]>

when you are choosing which type of gun to buy? Most of the time, the pictures of the guns may look attractive, but the real thing may turn out to be the opposite.

When you are choosing to buy airsoft guns, whether a pistol, sub machine gun, standard rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun or others, you should take these things into consideration:
-the weight of the gun
-the length of the barrel

The length of the barrel will be the ultimate determinant of your gun’s accuracy.

You should also determine which role you are playing on the field before purchasing any gun. Are you playing the role of picking off enemies from a distance or you are the one who provides cover fire for the other players on your team? Or maybe you are the one who guards certain objective? The role that you are playing is very crucial in helping you to determine which gun to buy because different roles need different types of guns.

Last but not least, you have to make sure that you have taken all the safety precautions when you are handling airsoft guns. Your eyes are the area where you have to protect it the most because you may hurt your eyes in an airsoft game.

Team deathmatch, also known as TDM, is a basic airsoft game type that consists of two teams competing to get the most hits on their opponents. Teams begin on opposite ends of the playing field and work together toward the goal of eliminating members of the other team before their own players are hit. Typically there are equal numbers of players on each team to start.

In team deathmatch, each player keeps track of his or her own hits, and team totals are calculated at the end of the match. When a player is hit, he or she signals the hit and goes to a designated respawn point. As with other Airsoft game types, players are expected to adhere to the honor system and call themselves out when they are hit. The rules and objectives of this game type will differ from group to group, but in many cases players who have been “killed” can come back into the game after a certain amount of time has passed.

A variation on team deathmatch is an individual deathmatch, or Free for All, which is a similar scenario except there are no teams. Last Man Standing is an example of this game type. Each player tries to eliminate other players without getting hit, which proves a challenge without having team members to help defend against enemy fire. Since every man is for himself, being attacked from multiple directions at once is common and makes hiding difficult. Though many airsofters love the camaraderie of team games, individual deathmatch games are fun and fast-paced and usually shorter in length than team matches.

Team deathmatch is one of the basic airsoft game types that is commonly played by beginners and experienced players alike. Games that fall into this category will vary widely on the details of play, so be sure to pay attention to the rules specified for the group you are with.

It is not that hard to find cheap airsoft electric guns and the best place where you can look for them are online stores. However, before you purchase any of the guns, it is advisable for you to research and learn something about them first. They are divided into different categories depending on their designs and operations.

Cheap airsoft electric guns are mainly responsible for the popularity of the sport worldwide. Each of them has a built-in electric motor which compresses and expands the pistol and forcing it to release. They use rechargeable batteries. When the gear is turned, a blast of air is created by the piston which propels BBs. These guns are so automated that they are capable of rapid firing a number of rounds.

Besides, there are also gas powered cheap airsoft electric guns which rapid fire using compressed air. The slide will also be returned back to its regular position by the compressed air after each shot. They are fun and may also be cheaper than those operated by batteries. They are usually priced from onwards.

Some of these guns are also available in the form of springers which is the most common type of cheap airsoft electric guns. It is also refered to as the original model of airsoft guns. Springers cheap airsoft electric guns use a spring mechanism to fire. You have to cock them after every shot. They have simple design and thus, they are cheaper. They are also recommended for beginners. Most airsoft players own at least one of these. You can find these for a price as low as .

When you are looking for cheap airsoft electric guns, it is better for you not to focus on the word cheap. You should instead look for a gun which is value for money. It is the best if you can get one with decent quality and comes with a reasonable price tag.

Safety should always be taken seriously when dealing with airsoft guns. Just as you would not begin a skirmish without proper safety attire, you should not enter a match without full knowledge of the safety rules of the organization you are playing with. Though the specifics of the rule will vary, the “blind man” rule is commonly enforced across nearly all airsoft organizations.

What is the “Blind Man” rule? “Blind man” is a warning that may be shouted anytime during an airsoft match when a player or bystander is spotted without protective eyewear, or in certain other emergency situations. Some organizations may dictate that only a commander may enact this rule, but many allow any player on the field to shout “blind man” under the appropriate circumstances. Having a universal signal to use in the event that someone in the vicinity is at risk underscores the importance of safety precautions in the sport of airsoft.

The “blind man” rule is widely understood as a signal that someone in the area is lacking proper eye protection, though in some organizations it is used to halt play for other reasons. For instance, sometimes the command is used when there is an injury, if a player’s vision is impaired or in response to other unsafe situations. Regardless of what prompts the warning, the actions you should take when you hear it are the same.

What to do when someone shouts “Blind Man!” When you hear another player say “blind man,” halt fire, stop wherever you are and repeat “blind man.” The rules of some organizations may also dictate that all players place their airsoft guns on the ground when they hear the signal. If every player adheres to protocol and stops play when the “blind man” signal is given, the situation can be resolved and the skirmish can resume with minimal effect on the game. You should repeat “blind man” to ensure that everyone around you is aware that play has stopped. Communication is vital to keeping everyone on and around the playing field as safe as possible.

We realize that studying up on safety rules may not be the most fun part of airsoft, but in a sport where a small mistake can lead to unnecessary injury, following all safety rules is vitally important. Though the “blind man” command may not be used often in the game of airsoft, every player should be aware of its meaning as well as what actions to take if they hear it shouted.

The gun itself is obviously the most important tool in airsoft. It can make or break your performance and enjoyment. If you are serious about airsoft then make sure that you get a good gun. Lower priced guns can be fun for a while but most likely they will not last for more than a couple of months and before you know it you will have to buy a new gun if you want to keep playing. Having a quality gun will also make you more competitive. A low quality gun which frequently jams and does not shoot straight is not much fun in the heat of battle. You will spend more time messing with the gun than actually accomplishing your objectives. It is much better to have a mid to top tier gun and spend your time accomplishing your teams objectives and dominating your opponents. To top if off, a top of the line airsoft gun is much better for showing off to your friends than a cheap plastic one.

Since the gun is an important part of the game it is good to know about the different types of airsoft guns. There are three main categories of airsoft guns: spring, electric, and gas.

Spring guns are often the least expensive, and in some cases the most reliable. A quality spring airsoft gun will practically last forever if you don’t abuse it. This is because there are few moving parts within the gun and there is not much which can go wrong. The drawback of spring guns is that they need to be manually cocked before each shot is fired. This makes them good starter guns, but if playing against someone with an automatic AEG then you will have a big disadvantage because they will be able to pump out bbs 100 times faster than you. In serious airsoft battles the only time you really see spring guns used is for sniping. Snipers do not rely on a high rate of fire but instead use tactics, cover, concealment, and marksmanship to take down their prey.

Gas powered airsoft guns use either green gas or CO2 as propulsion. In other words, the gas is already pressurized. This makes them easy to use and very realistic. They can fire in semi auto mode, and sometimes even in full auto. The drawback is that once you’re out of gas then the gun is basically useless until you buy more. CO2 is easy to find but Green Gas usually has to purchased online or at a specialty store. There are special adapters which allow propane to be used instead of Green Gas.

The third type of airsoft gun is electric. For rifles this is the most popular type of gun. They are battery powered. The battery turns an electric motor which in turn powers a pistol which compresses air, which is used to propel the Bbs. This makes them very powerful because they can shoot in full auto mode for as long as the trigger is pulled back. Many AEGs also come with a high capacity magazine which can hold 300 rounds or more. The batteries are almost always rechargeable so once they are out all you have to do is put them on a charger for a few hours and then you’re ready to play again. In matches and events which last for a day or more it is a good idea to have a spare battery or two to use while the other is charging.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the gas of choice for the operation of the corresponding type of Airsoft guns. The compressed form of the gas is used to mimic the pyrotechnic effect of gun powder to provide the necessary propulsion for firing the bullet or projectile from the gun. A CO2-powered gun has a reservoir or a small tank which is used to store the gas that powers the shooting mechanism from within the gun. The preference for Airsoft CO2 guns stems from the fact that these guns have internal and concealed reservoirs as compared to other paintball guns where the users must carry bulky CO2 cans.

Airsoft CO2 guns are high-powered and in some cases these weapons can have a range of up to 400 yards. The CO2 gas is contained in cartridges which can be purchased separately from the guns; this makes it easier to replace the cartridges once they are spent. Apart from this, these cartridges are light in weight thereby making the whole gun easy to use and maneuver. Another major factor contributing to the popularity of CO2-powered Airsoft guns is that they are generally affordable as compared to other types of guns. These factors, coupled with their ease of maintenance and operation, have led to their rising popularity with Airsoft gun enthusiasts.

          ]]>

Airsoft CO2 guns are very popular in the United States and elsewhere and they are used to play combat games like Airsoft skirmish while some people just like to collect these guns and display them in their homes. These guns are completely safe for use and hence they are legal in most parts of the world – you don’t require any additional licenses to purchase them. Although a big part of using Airsoft guns is about the thrilling feeling of using the real weapons, CO2-powered guns do not shoot real bullets but specially-designed projectiles which cannot penetrate the skin to cause injury.

Airsoft CO2 guns are available in many categories ranging from simple hand pistols to high-powered semi automatic and automatic guns. The semi and fully automatic varieties can deliver high firepower in the order of up to 3500 rounds per cartridge. Advances in technology have pointed to better ways in which to compress higher volumes of gas into smaller sizes of cartridges and thereby exponentially increasing the firepower of the guns. Though there are other types of gas such as propane which can be used to power Airsoft guns, carbon dioxide is favored due to its availability and the cheaper prices of cartridges.

Firing your gas airsoft gun is a matter of knowing your limitations and understanding safety precautions like a professional. Firing your gun is a very serious matter, even though it is just a gas airsoft gun. There is a lot of potential for injury and other serious affliction that may influence the way in which you operate your gun should you take those precautions into consideration. Knowing the facts and history of injury and even fatality that has involved airsoft guns in the past should influence you to operate your gun in a safe and secure manner.

A gas airsoft gun is operational because of the gas charge that works its way through the gun to snap the pellet out of the barrel. This functions with gas charges that are either brought in to the gun through a gas supply hose or through a cartridge. Using the air pressure, the gas airsoft gun then fires the pellet at an alarmingly quick rate of speed and precision. This can be dangerous because of the utterly intense velocity at which the pellet is travelling, making it nearly impossible to see through the air and creating a significant impact on its target.

Use With Extreme Caution

Using your gas airsoft gun should be done under the most extreme of circumstances with caution. It should never be used as a defense mechanism and is only functional as a toy. For any other purpose, you should not use an airsoft gun as the potential for injury is incredibly high. These guns are not recommended for children or for any amateur users with no previous gun experience. An airsoft gun serves as a main function to be a replica or toy gun for use of those over the age of responsibility in the local area. Anyone using a gas airsoft gun under the age of responsibility should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Many collectors like the realism and the design of the gas airsoft gun. Unfortunately, this can often make the gun all too real for some users and can produce unanticipated results from other sources. Many law enforcement agencies have cracked down on the use of toy guns as well as real guns as the distinction between the two lines has significantly blurred in recent years with finer craftsmanship and a more real look. Using a gas airsoft gun may be assuming an unnecessary risk.

Classic Army is a popular manufacturer of airsoft guns. They are stationed in Hong Kong, although they export heavily worldwide. The company mainly makes replica airsoft guns; airsoft guns that very closely resemble their real-life counterparts. One reason that Classic Army, abbreviated CA, is so successful is because of the stunning realism of their products. As stated, they can look almost identical or completely identical to the real guns they are modeled after (save for the orange tip).

CA guns are usually full metal, which means where there is metal on the real gun, there is metal on the CA replica. Other parts, such as the gearbox, are also usually metal. The fact that CA guns are full metal has a large effect on their price. There are no AEGs under 0, although the M15A4 Carbine, a spring gun, is under 0. The specifications for the AEGs are more or less the same, as mostly all of them fire between 300-350 feet per second, and they work best with 0.20g BBs. Also, most AEGs come with high-capacity magazines, which is another reason that Classic Army is such an appealing brand.

The products that CA produces are all based on real guns, and they can manufacturer a line of airsoft guns based on one real rifle. For example, they currently have ten airsoft guns all based on the M4 Carbine. They also have guns based on Heckler & Koch G3, Heckler & Koch HK33, Heckler & Koch G36, Heckler & Koch SL8, Heckler & Koch MP5, Steyr Aug, AK-47, M249 SAW, SR-25, M14, M16A2, and SCAR-L. As you can see, CA has airsoft guns based on the most popular of real rifles, and they have more coming out in the future. Besides airsoft guns, CA also produces spare parts, accessories, tactical gear, batteries, and more.

Despite the high quality of CA’s products, and their widespread appeal, they are not the most popular manufacturer in the world, and they have a lot of competition. In fact, the statistically best airsoft producer is Tokyo Marui, although Classic Army is catching up to them in popularity for AEGs. Tokyo Marui also manufacturers (besides AEGs) gas and electric pistols, as well as a number of air guns and radio controlled devices.

The future of Classic Army looks bright. Many of their to-be-released products have already been announced. New airsoft guns that are coming up include a Colt, Glock, and a new Steyr Aug (the AUG A3). Depending on the kind of airsoft gun, new Classic Army products will usually enjoy a brief period of high sales and popularity, but after the initial fad is over, they may sink into the background. Currently, the M4 Carbine series is the most popular of CA products, and it is expected for them to retain that position.

Welcome to the world of classic Airsoft guns powered by gas instead of spring. They are one of the most sought after items among collectors. One such classic World War II pistol is the Cannon HG-196 Gas Airsoft Pistol. Its full metallic construction makes it a solid and a reliable machine. It will function for years to come.

This metal gas airsoft pistol is non-blowback (NBB), which offers an excellent accuracy because the internal parts of NBB are stationary when the shot is fired. The only factor that can affect its accuracy would be the harsh trigger in NBBs. The double action trigger, however, ensures rapid firing. When you pull the trigger, the hammer hits the firing pin, which in turn activates the gas valve. The released jet of gas then propels BBs.

          ]]>

These semi-automatic Cannon airsoft guns are powered by high-power propellant HFC-134 or Green Gas. They fire with a loud pop and have a 33-round capacity allowing you to be in action for a longer time. The metallic magazine can be removed and filled with cartridges to continue firing. The minimum cool down effect is one of the factors contributing to its high performance.

The handle of the Cannon HG-196 Gas Airsoft Pistol has broomstick grip with fake wood furniture offering a firm, comfortable grip. It also has a sling mount to attach a pistol cord.

A few important specifications of these Cannon airsoft guns are: • Weight: 2.6 lbs. (1,150 g) • Length: 11 ½ inches (295.0mm) • Velocity: 450 Fps with 0.12 g BBs; 410 Fps with 0.2 g BBs; 370 Fps with 0.25 g BBs • Caliber: 0.24

If you are looking for metal gas airsoft pistol, I recommend you to go with the Cannon HG-196 Gas Airsoft Pistol. It is reliable and accurate and perfect for airsoft squirmishing.
